Feroxyma Ingredients and Usage

The active ingredient is Ferric Carboxymaltose, a stable complex of ferric iron and carboxymaltose. It is administered as a single intravenous dose up to 1000mg (20ml) by slow injection or diluted infusion, typically over at least 15 minutes, under medical supervision.

Feroxyma is clinically indicated for:

• Iron deficiency anemia when oral iron is ineffective or poorly tolerated
• Iron deficiency in chronic kidney disease patients
• Postpartum iron deficiency anemia
• Heavy menstrual bleeding-associated anemia
• Inflammatory bowel disease with iron deficiency
